Privacy Policy

Welcome to the eAudrey website.  We believe strongly in Internet privacy, and do not actively collect personal information about you.  You can access our Web site home page and browse our site without disclosing your personal data.  As a general rule, we do not collect any personally identifiable information about you, unless you e-mail it to us or post it on a discussion board.  This policy will explain what information is collected and how it is used.

What Information is Collected

Our website is hosted by Verio, and collects the standard access logs that many websites use.  These logs record information about the time and date, the referring domain name (example- AOL.com), the country you are visiting from, the type of browser used, the pages viewed, and any errors encountered.  These logs may also record other technical information.

The only personal identification that we collect is information that you provide when you send us an e-mail, or post something on our message board.

You should remember that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online, such as on message boards, through e-mail, discussion groups, or in chat areas, your information can be collected and used by others. Although eAudrey tries to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. You are also solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of any passwords you set up and/or any account information.

Eaudrey does not use cookies, although some of the banner ads or third party links might.

How the Information is Used

The information collected in the web server logs is mainly used to improve the site.  It helps us to identify which pages are of interest to visitors, and which are not.  It is generally used in an aggregate fashion to help us monitor the popularity of certain pages on the site.  These logs are periodically deleted, usually after 3 or 4 months.

E-mails will generally be replied to, but you do not need to send any personal information in them, except for your e-mail address.  E-Mails are also periodically deleted, usually after 3 or 4 months.  Your e-mails will not intentionally be forwarded to anyone else unless you indicate that is your wish.

In general, we do not share collected information with third parties without your permission. However, eAudrey may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or to protect the rights or property of eAudrey.

Data Security

Unfortunately, data transmission over the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Accordingly, despite our efforts to protect your personal information, eAudrey cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, or to or from our online products or services. You transmit all such information at your own risk. However, once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.

Our website uses Verio for its hosting services. If you have concerns about data security, you should view their website, or contact one of their representatives.
