Calopus
| Description |
A goat-like creature with serrated horns. It has
a snout like a boar, a beard like a goat, tail and teeth like a lion.
It has cloven hoofs in front, and back feet like a dragon. The
calopus can use the horns to cut through thickets or even fell trees.

| From |
Similar to the Aptaleon, from Babylonian myth that was probably
based on antelopes. The myth tells that the aptaleon could cut
down trees with his horns, but could get caught and held in a thicket,
or a bush called erechire. Used
in Heraldry in Britain, and as a carving in Churches.
