Whipped Cream Soaps
Basic Instructions
You can use commercial soap flakes or grate your own-very fine.
 | 1 1/2 cups (110 grams) soap flakes |
 | 10 tablespoons (150ml) distilled water |
 | 1 tablespoon (15 ml) glycerin |
 | 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sunflower oil |
- Instructions
- Melt the soap in the water, glycerin, and oil over medium heat in a double
boiler. Stir with a chopstick or spoon handle.
- When mixture is a lumpy paste, remove from heat and add any additional
ingredients from your recipe, such as essential oils. Whisk by hand or with an
electric beater until creamy.
- Pour into molds and leave in a cool place to set.
Delicate Rose Cream Soap
Dried pink rosebuds can be used for decoration. If soap is setting face up, stick
a bud into the soap while still soft. If soap is setting face down in a mold, put
the bud into the mold prior to pouring the soap.

 | 30 drops rose essential or fragrance oil |
 | 1 1/2 tablespoons (22.5 ml) red base color |
 | 1 1/2 cups (110 grams soap flakes |
 | 10 tablespoons (150 ml) (substitute for distilled water) rosewater |
 | 1/2 tablespoon (7.5 ml) honey |

Basic Whipped Cream Instructions
Sunflower Cream Soap
Ingredients
 | 1 1/2 cups (110 grams) soap flakes |
 | 10 tablespoons (150 ml) rosewater |
 | 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sunflower oil |
 | 15 drops lemon essential oil |
 | 10 drops other citrus essential oil |
 | 4 drops basil essential oil |
The soap should be sufficiently hardened after about two hours (shorter if cooled
in the refrigerator). Turn it out of the mold.
